ICASA is currently conducting virtual public hearings in respect of the Draft Equipment Authorisation Regulations published in March 2021. The public hearings started today (25 August 2021) and will continue on 26 and 27 August 2021 from 09h00 to 17h00.

ICASA has learnt with shock, the recent passing of its former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Pakamile Pongwana, and hereby extends its condolences to his family, former colleagues, and friends during this time of bereavement.

Opening statement by Cllr Thembeka Semane during public hearings on the Draft Mobile Broadband Services Regulations

ICASA will hold the virtual public hearings in respect of the draft Mobile Broadband Services Regulations published on 26 March 2021 for public comments. The public hearings will be held on 12 and 13 August 2021. Stakeholders are hereby invited to participate in these hearings.
