Department of Communication announces 31st March 2018 deadline for registration to receive government-subsidised decoders in North West and Free State provinces. 

Households qualifying to receive government-subsidised decoders in the Free State and North West provinces have until the end of March 2018 to register for these devices.

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) and the Autoridade Reguladora Das Communicações (INCM), the communications authority of Mozambique, conducted a joint Radio Frequency (RF) measurements exercise from 11 – 15 December 2017.

The Authority hereby informs the public that the deadline for submissions of written comments on the draft Regulations is extended from 10 January 2018 to 29 January 2018.
