The Council of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA/the Authority) would like to inform all its stakeholders that its Head Office and all its Regional Offices are open for regular business operations.

ICASA is seeking written submissions in respect of the draft Digital Sound Broadcasting (DSB) Services Regulations. Written submissions must reach the Authority by no later than 16h00 on 29 December 2020 and the submissions must be electronic.

ICASA announces spectrum licensing plans for the Wireless Open Access Network and International Mobile Telephony spectrum

ICASA welcomes the ninth and remaining Councillor to make up the full complement of the Council. Councillor Zolani Kgosietsile Matthews was sworn in today, taking over the role for the next four years.

ICASA is saddened by the passing away of former Councillor, Ms Botlenyana Mokhele yesterday. Ms Mokhele recently left the employ of ICASA after completing her four year term as a member of Council.
