The process of licensing individual commercial free-to-air television broadcasting services continues. ICASA will be holding public hearings after four applicants complied with the preliminary requirements for further consideration in this licensing process.

The Complaints and Compliance Committee will hear a matter of an alleged non-compliance by the SABC brought by SOS Coalition and Media Monitoring Africa. All media and interested stakeholders are invited to the public hearings.
