ICASA to Host Provincial Workshops on Community TV and Spectrum Licence Applications

PRETORIA - Following the publication of the Invitation to Pre-Register (“ITP-R”) for Community Television Broadcasting Service (“CTBS”) and Radio Frequency Spectrum (“RFS”) licences in Government Gazette No. 53934 on 08 January 2026, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) will host a series of provincial in-person outreach workshops during May 2026.

The workshops follow the virtual engagement held on 25 March 2026 and the outreach workshop conducted on 06 May 2026. Additional workshops will take place on 12, 14, 26, and 28 May 2026.
