ICASA reschedules public hearings on the Discussion Document on Broadcasting Signal Distribution Services

PRETORIA - The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa ("the Authority") regrets to announce that it has had to change the date of the virtual public hearings in respect of the Discussion Document on Signal Distribution Services - from 19 August to August 26 and 29, 2022.

The change is a response to a request from stakeholders that the hearings be rescheduled. After further consultation with the relevant stakeholders, the Authority can confirm that the hearings will now take place virtually on 26 and 29 August 2022.

The hearings are part of the Authority's Market Inquiry into South African Broadcasting Signal Distribution Services.

The Authority again invites interested stakeholders, media, and members of the public to attend the virtual public hearings.

The programme for the hearings on 26 August 2022 will be as follows
