The General Manager: Compliance and Consumer Affairs at Icasawho has a delegated monitoring function in terms of the ICASA Act 13 of 2000, referred a matter concerning Ohren Telecom Close Corporation 

The CCA alleged that that Ohren Telecom contravened section 13(1) of the ECA by transferring control of the cc without the required prior permission from the Council of ICASA in terms of section 13(1) and (2) of the Electronic Communications Act 2005 (“ECA”)
